Read each event literally
Sent records the result returned by the iPhone's Messages composer. It is not a carrier delivery receipt. Opened indicates the request page reported visible-page activity. Feedback received is feedback submitted to the RateReviewMe page. Google clicked or Facebook clicked means the customer selected that outbound destination. These are useful steps, but none is a published-review confirmation.
Why can an opened request have no review?
Someone may open the page, leave feedback for the business, decide to return later or choose not to continue. That feedback still has value without a public review. Read what they have explained before judging the request by its last status. Browser settings can also prevent an open event from being reported, so a missing event does not tell you what a person thinks.
What about link previews and scanners?
Messaging tools and security services can fetch links before a person opens them. RateReviewMe separates ordinary link fetches from its visible-page open event. This reduces one source of confusion, but it is not a guarantee that every reported open came from a unique human. A repeated interaction is not automatically a new person.
Where should I check published reviews?
Check the relevant review platform directly. Public reviews can appear later, under a different display name, or be subject to the platform's moderation. Avoid claiming a precise conversion rate from clicked links to reviews unless you have a sound way to compare those two distinct measures.
Look beyond the activity label
A click can help you understand the steps taken; a customer's words can help you understand the experience. Look for specifics such as a confusing instruction, a long wait or a part that was missing. Acknowledge what happened and decide whether there is a useful action you can take. Keep request counts and public review totals separate when discussing results.
How should I follow up?
If the customer has described a problem and it is appropriate to contact them, use your normal contact channel to understand it and discuss what you can do. RateReviewMe shows submitted feedback; you handle the conversation and any remedy yourself. If you are simply sending a reminder, keep it optional. A click does not tell you whether they have already posted a public review.
